Sander started in the IT in 1998. He started at Computer Sciences Corporation. His first work was installing PC’s and help employees of other companies to work with their PC after he installed and configured it for them. Within the years he worked for CSC, he worked for many large companies and learned the fundamentals of communication services what later became SharePoint. He also learned here to develop his Project management skills and Management skills. In 2008 Sander started at Microsoft and became an expert in SharePoint and Cloud computing (first BPOS and later Office 365). After 5,5 years he had multiple jobs, in and outside the Netherlands, in different functions, from SharePoint and Office 365 consultant to EMEA director for professional services. In 2018 he started to work for The Triple A Company, which soon was changed to Oxineo. In February 2019 he took over Oxineo together with Piet Engelen and became co-owner of Oxineo.
Sander is a specialist in SharePoint and Microsoft 365. His specialism is to invent solutions for challenges that companies face in working with documents and data, within the Microsoft 365 structure. This means that he first looks at what is possible within the possibilities of Microsoft 365 and makes use of everything that Microsoft 365 has to offer. Most solutions will make use of SharePoint and the Microsoft Power Platform and in some situations they will use Azure Runbooks and PowerShell. The goal is to stay away from customization and make all solutions changeable by customers themselves after some training.
Sander sees some future changes in thinking about how to work with what is available today. One change that he sees has to do with the environmental discussions. Today companies buy all kind of apps to fulfill the needs of the company. For most of these apps they have the solutions already in house, when using Microsoft 365, only they have no idea how to use it or that some applications are part of their Microsoft 365 license. When they would use less apps and more within the Microsoft 365 environment, their CO2 footprint would automatically become smaller. Another challenge that will become even more prominent is integration. Most apps will only integrate partially or not at all, what will give less insight, as many companies would love to combine the data of multiple apps to get more insight on what is happening in their company. When using solutions within the Microsoft 365, there will be full integration and is it made possible to get all that insight.
